❃ Stygimoloch was a small pachycephalosaurid dinosaur that lived in what is now North America during the late Campanian stage of the Cretaceous period, about 76.5 million years ago. It was one of the last known members of its family, and one of the last known non-avian dinosaurs.
❃ It is known from a single partial skull found in Montana in 1966. They were a small dinosaur, measuring only about 2.3 meters (7.5 feet) in length. It had a short neck, a small head, and a short tail. It was covered in scaly skin, and had a row of spikes running down its back.
❃ Stygimoloch is best known for its strange, horned skull. The horns on its head were long and curved, and may have been used for display or for defense.
